He would never be able to forget the sensation of someone watching him. It had become an almost daily occurrence between his children and Wing’s brothers sneaking into the lab. Of course he would have to track down who it was that was watching him.

"Hello?"

The mechling glanced around curiously but didn’t want to far from the counter he got around the corner with. He watched the older mech but didn’t say anything or try and get any close- at least just yet. He wanted to get a better idea of this stranger first!

He stayed where he was, quiet and observant. He didn’t want to scare the mechling away and had an idea that this was his grandson he was with. Patience and silence would pay off if he wanted to spend time with the youngling.

A childish growl and a burst of furious chatters could be heard from the vents above and the little mechling stared up, listening but apparently ignoring whatever warning had been given him. He merely pointed at Perceptor and chirped.

He heard the growl and chatters above and realized both of his grandchildren were in the room one way or another. Slowly and carefully he began vocalizing the lullaby he used to sing for Halfpint, half wondering if she sang it for her sparklings to get them to sleep. Perceptor knew not to make any movement towards the little mechling and could tell that there would be repercussions if he did.

The mechling squeaked and pointed again with a whistle. The response was another growl and a huff. Whether the other approved didn’t seem to matter as he slowly approached Perceptor. He didn’t say anything yet, who knew if he was old enough, but he was studying the older mech curiously.

"Why, hello!"

O-Oh! Hello! Write, how long have us waited fer me t’ reply t’ ya?! M’So sorry it took so long!!!

Do you own any sex toys?

*blushes* y-yeah…. Bee from Sexbot Hotline got me a couple when I worked there…..

What is one thing you really like about how I play my character?

He chirred in response, waiting for the little one to come forward if they wanted to. He wouldn’t force anything on anyone and was more than willing to be patient. Of course it would also be a matter of if the sparkling wanted to come forward or not.

Finally, the lil one inched forward to peer into the light. It’s coloring was a mix of silver and brown, orange optics vivid against his coloring. It was little, much like Halfpint had used to be when she was a sparkling. As it looked around curiously, it appeared to be a mechling.

He sensed something close to kinship with the little mechling but dared not scare him. Perceptor was aware that a lot changed without his knowledge of what was happening and now he could see that his daughter had had at least a sparkling. He smiled faintly and clicked encouragingly, trying to coax the little one out and closer.

"Hello?"

The figure was that of a sparkling, but it hurriedly backed away towards the vent it emerged from from the scientist, not sure who it was.

He turned around towards the sound but was too slow to see who it was that had gone through the vent.

"Halfpint?" He called while moving a little closer to the vent in question. "Sweetspark, is that you?"

The optics weren’t the right color and he got absolutely not reply to his question. But the lil sparkling didn’t back away too far. The little one was tiny in stature but appears well fed- if it’s belly was any indication. There was a soft chirr of question.
